生平

1951年1月19日，坂口志文出生于日本滋贺县长滨市。京都大学医学部毕业。医学博士（京都大学）。

1976年，坂口取得医师资格。历任约翰·霍普金斯大学客座研究员、斯克里普斯研究所助教授、新技术事业团“魄力21研究”研究员。

1995年，坂口担任东京都老人综合研究所免疫病理部门部门长。1999年担任京都大学教授。2007年担任京都大学再生医科学研究所（日语：京都大学再生医科学研究所）所长。2011年担任大阪大学免疫学前沿研究中心教授。

主要成就

调节T细胞的移植免疫相关研究。

1995年发现发现白细胞介素-2受体α锁的CD25分子具有抑制自体免疫性疾病的作用。
